Holiday Stroll & Gift Market

Friday, from 5-8pm. New this year-gift market with street vendors, giant inflatable snow globe for holiday pictures.

Ring in the Holidays Square Style! The Dedham Square Circle’s annual Dedham Square Holiday Stroll & Gift Market has something for everyone! Food, shopping, music, free activities for kids and adults and a visit from Santa!

Merchants will stay open late to offer special discounts and holiday treats while there's lots of activity going on throughout the Square:

  • Gift market with 40+ street vendors

  • Grab a bite to eat from street food vendors and Dedham Square eateries

  • Get inside of our the Giant Snow Globe and take a unique holiday picture!

  • Try the free Snow Ball Throw activity-write your high score on the leader board

  • Enjoy live music and lots of holiday cheer

  • Live music from Dedham School of Music and Dedham Community Band will perform together

  • First Church & Parish Dedham Carolers will spread joy by singing throughout the Square

  • Dedham Museum & Archive will host a free Holiday Train display, where you’ll see a O Scale locomotives from Lionel and MTH!

  • Visit Dedham Square businesses who will have specials and some will have treats!

Light Up the Night   

Join Santa for the official lighting of the Town's Christmas tree at 6:30 pm.

After the tree lighting, follow Santa over to the Orchid 7 Bar & Grill for photos with Santa.

Street Closures

A section of the Square will be closed to traffic beginning at 4:30 p.m. High St. from Washington St. down to the Harris St. intersection and Eastern Ave. from High St. to CVS. Access to the Town parking lot will remain open all evening.

Overflow parking available at Town Hall lot on Washington St., in the Dedham Square Crossing lot at the corner of High St. and East St. (Gonzalez field lot), and behind the Registry of Deeds at the corner of Ames St. and High St.

Bathrooms

Porta Potties will be located in the Keystone Lot
