Outdoor Dedham Square Program

Outdoor Dedham Square is a newly launched support program that will reimburse Dedham Square businesses for certain outdoor expenses. The purpose of the program is to support businesses in their efforts to make the Square attractive and appealing through outdoor signage, events, and dining.

The program will be applicable to Dedham Square Circle business members in good standing. Reimbursement can be applied towards the outdoor dining fee, sign and facade improvements, and other outdoor activities such as sidewalk sales. The program is an opportunity for all Dedham Square businesses to participate in outdoor activities and drive traffic to their business with additional financial support.  

●      Business must be located within the confines of Dedham Square.

●      DSC reimburses up to 50% with a $500 maximum for Outdoor Dining application and/or square footage fees from the Town, Sign/façade or outdoor activities expenses. 

●      A business may only apply for one reimbursement per 12-month period.

●      Sign/facade and outdoor activity reimbursements will be first come, first serve for businesses who have been in the Square for 5+ years. 

●      In the period of March 2023-February 2024, Outdoor Dedham Square will reimburse:

o   Outdoor Dining application fees for any restaurant participating in the program 

o   A maximum of 2 sign/facade ($1,000 max)

o   A maximum of 2 activities reimbursements ($1,000 max)
